Mountain Gun

I saw this lovely piece on the Empress Miniatures website, and couldn't resist it.  It is now part of my Army of God, whose spearhead is made up of anti-British Indian Communists.  Although the gun-shield is part of the cannon, it is so unlikely an affair that I imagined it as an improvised element, which explains the rust (my first attempt at painting it).

Empress now also does the mule train with which the gun travels, including a broken-down version of the gun itself...I must admit that I am tempted !

J'ai vu cette pièce d'artillerie de montagne sur le site d'Empress Miniatures, et je n'ai pas pu résister.  Son équipage est fait d'Indiens communistes, consacrés à la chute de l'Empire Britannique.  La pièce métallique qui protège l'équipage fait partie du canon, mais il est tellement improbable que je me suis permis de le présenter comme une pièce improvisée, d'où la rouille (ma première tentative d'en peindre).

Empress fabrique maintenant les mules qui transportent ce canon, avec une version du canon en pièces détachées...ce qui est très tentant....
