Lors de mes vacances en Espagne l'été dernier, où je lisais justement les romans de Conan, je suis entré dans un magasin de jeux à Grenade (dont le nom m'échappe, War quelque chose). Sur les étages, il y avait (en promo qui plus est), la figurine Cojo de Malifaux. L'appel du destin !
Une figurine pas évident à peindre, car elle à la fois très grande (50mm je dirai) et presque parfaitement lisse. Pour lui donner de la texture, j'ai utilisé des pointillés, des traits de pinceaux sur le dos, des dégradés, bref j'ai mené pas mal d'expériences pour un rendu dont je suis content.
Les gorilles de Hyboria sont des "Grey Apes", ils sont dotés d'une intelligence rudimentaire et peuvent être entrainés par les hommes. Vu l'anneau en métal et les piques en os, celui-ci a de toute évidence servi dans les arènes, d'où les multiples cicatrices et blessures. On peut l'imaginer de fort mauvais tempérament...
La mise en peinture est topissime, il aura des renforts avec ma horde de singe et de gorille Pulp qui peuvent sauter d'un univers à l'autre !

Hi, and first of all thanks for your kind comment. I have noticed (from sudden spikes in traffic) that Tango01 regularly posts pictures from my blog onto TMP. Although initially IIRC there was no credit at all, I noticed that he has since gotten into the habit of adding a link. I thought that was done spontaneously, but perhaps, in the light of your comment, I should thank the intervention of TMPers for that.
SupprimerAs things stand, however, Tango01 posts do currently include a link, and the way the posts are written make it clear he is not claiming my work as his own. A citation would indeed be nice, but it is not absolutely essential. My blog is not a high profile one, so I'm happy that posting parts of it to TMP brings people here, and I hope they leave it having found something useful or inspiring.
