We got the Decanter of Burning Light out of the convent of St. Emilia despite fearful opposition !
The scenario was so exciting, my youngest and I forget to take photos, so just these two.
We had great fun from beginning to end. Setting up the courtyard so that it looked the same as the opening scenario was already cool; we added the battle damage caused by the Pteranodon that crashed through the gatehouse roof in the first scenario. Then my daughter had the good idea of adding more Jungle Deep vegetation, to show how much progress it had made during the couple of days we had been fighting in the convent. That added a nice touch of despair, as we knew that if we managed to leave, the Convent of St Emilia would be reduced to ruin behind us.
Taking out the Terror Wing on turn 2 gave us a solid advantage, and our Transpose / Teleport plan for the decanter went well. The Recovery Roll for Bohwihsh, who is my daughter's favorite Companion, was nail biting, I prayed for the Dice Gods to favour her, and for once they heard me !
We are looking forward to the next scenarios, for which we are going to whip up new Rangers, although we shall start them at Level 5 or perhaps even Level 10. Then again, Ghost Stone requires two groups of Rangers....Before playing that, I think we'll have a go at The Menagerie, which looks fun. I'll keep you posted !
