Liela Mordollwen

This is another fairly old sculpt (I believe) from Reaper.  I already bought and painted her when I first started painting 28mm in earnest.

I loved the sculpt and wanted to have another crack at painting her.

 

 

Definitely an improvement there !  It is a bit of a false comparison in a way, since the first attempt represented maybe 2-3 hours painting, the more recent attempt at least five times that.  However, I don't think that back in the old days, I could have achieved the same effect no matter how long I would have spent.

The figure is sold as a Drow, but as you can tell I went for something different, unless of course there is an official drow faction that worships unicorns  ; )

She'll fit in nicely to my Conan world, but I also thought to use her for my Andalucia 1166 project, since that will also dip into Andalucia's Celtic past.
