Carnevale - The Guild

 

I have fallen for the Carnevale universe...I'm hoping to embark my friends aboard the gondola, but for that I'll need to paint up at least three factions.

This is the Capodecina that will lead the Guild band.  I have already posted him here a couple of months ago, but now he is fully based (and, I must admit, the base pleases me !).  My first Carnevale figures were a by product of the terrain I was after, and didn't come with cobbled bases.  I figured that didn't matter, I would paint on the cobblestones when the time came.  Except I really didn't want to, when the time came !

By pure coincidence, I had bought some AK Interactive crackle-effect basing material from an FLWS in Spain.  Whereas the GW equivalent makes large crackling, like sun-baked earth, this one makes much tighter effects, and I figured I could use it for my Carnevale figures.  What a lot of time saved !  

For the moment, the Capodecina is lacking recruits, the band is only three strong.  The Patricians are the furthest ahead, with 7 figures (pictures will follow), there are 5 painted up in the Vatican faction, and the Rashaar have 2 members. Yes, I know I said three factions, that is four.  What can I say ?
