The idea here is to flesh out the forces of the Jungle Deep, as the whim takes me, with a mix of plant-based creatures, monstruous HuMan-animal hybrids (to which Carnevale Deep Ones could be added), and anthros resucitated from now extinct species.

The idea is to play a campaign from the Vatican viewpoint, with a "sanity" mechanism that will gradually affect the heroes, influencing the secondary objectives they are given (eg low sanity = crucify three civilians...).
The main enemy will be the Rashaar, who will of course affect sanity.
The Patricians, taken to mean the Venetian political corps in the largest sense (Noble Houses masquerata, the Doge via the City Guard and Navy), will obstruct both.

I have long toyed with the idea of a campaign in the Ancient World, without being able to decide what, where and when. I finally decided on the early days of the Persian Empire. It has a rich mythology, both Zoroastrian and pre- Zoroastrian, with Ahriman and his demons, Ahura Mazda and angel-like avatars...The source material is rich (Avesta, Shah-Nameh, 1001 Arabian Nights, and perhaps some Iranian TV series). There are also connections to numerous other entities : Babylon, the Hebrews, the Scythians, the legendary Amazons....
To boot, I have already done research and work for my Battlelore Mythology army, and I have plentiful Persian troops.
As to what, it will be the story of Cyrus' companions, seeking to bring him to the throne but having to fight a mythological battle against Ahriman and his Daeva and human allies to do so.
Figures for this require a lot of artistic licence, but look out for those wearing trousers and tight jackets, or tasselled robes.
